Cabernet Cortis

Cabernet cortis is a blue PIWI (pilzwiderstandsfähig) variety that is a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Solaris created at the Statliches Weinbauinstitut in Freiburg, Germany. Its clusters are heavy, the grapes mid-sized to large. The variety is resistant to powdery mildew and ripens relatively early. It produces tasty, phenolic wines reminiscent of Cabernet Sauvignon
